Open Scorecard Templates
 
Go to your Company Settings.
 
Click Scorecard Templates.

Create a New Scorecard Template
 
Click Create New Template and choose between Create New Scorecard Template or Copy from Existing Scorecard Template.
 
In this instance, click Create New Scorecard Template, then click Continue.

Step 3
Name and Describe the Scorecard
 
Name your scorecard, then click Add Scorecard Description to add additional context for the interviewers.
💡 Note: Create generic scorecard templates that can be reused across multiple job requisitions for different stages of the pipeline. For example, a Phone Screen Template for recruiters to capture general info on the first call, or a Software Engineer Pre-Screen Template used across all software engineer roles.

Add Skills or Competencies
 
Enter the skills or competencies that you want to cover.

Add Interview Questions
 
Add your interview questions.
 
Select the Score Answer checkbox to let the interviewer assign a score to the candidate's response.
💡 Note: SCALIS supports several question types, including free response, yes/no, and more.

Save Your Template
 
Once you are satisfied, click Save. You can also click Preview to make sure your template is complete.

Open the Job Requisition
 
Once your scorecard template is complete, go to your Dashboard and click the job requisition you'd like to add the scorecard to.

Select the Stage
 
Click the Stage you would like to add the scorecard to. A drawer will open.

Assign the Template
 
From the dropdown, select the Scorecard Template, assign an interviewer, and click Update Stage.

How to Assign a Scorecard to an Interviewer

Forgot to attach a scorecard to an interview that's already scheduled? Follow these steps to manually assign a scorecard to an interviewer.

Open the Candidate's Profile

Start a New Scorecard Assignment
 
Click the Scorecard tab at the top of the candidate's profile, then click Assign Scorecard.

Select the Stage, Template, and Interviewer
 
Select the Stage, Scorecard Template, and the user it's being assigned to.
 
Select Send email notification if you'd like to notify the user, then click Add Scorecard.

Final Step
Confirm the Assignment
 
The user is notified that they've been assigned a scorecard to complete, and the details display in the Scorecard tab of that candidate's profile.
