Custom views in your candidate dashboard let you save filtered pipelines as tabs—making it easy to toggle between specific groups like Uploaded Candidates, Interviewing Soon, or Top Matches.
For a step-by-step tutorial follow this guide, here.
✨ What You Can Customize in a View
-
Filters: Application status, source, profile type, tags, etc.
-
Columns: Show or hide data like match score, last activity, recruiter, etc.
-
Sorting: Sort by score, date added, name, etc.
-
Pinning: Pin key views for quick access.
-
Sharing: Copy a direct link to share with your team.
📌 Default Views (Removable)
Your pipeline comes preloaded with a few helpful default views—these are just pre-filtered tabs and can be removed or customized like any other saved view.
| Default View | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Active Candidates | Candidates actively moving through the pipeline (not rejected) |
| Uploaded Candidates | Candidates manually added or imported (not sourced or invited) |
| SCALIS Candidates | Candidates that have a SCALIS profile |
| Rejected | Candidates who were disqualified or rejected |
| Invited to Apply | Candidates you proactively invited to submit an application |
🧽 Don’t need a default view? Click the Save View ▼ menu > Remove View to clean up your tabs.
🧭 Steps to Create a Custom View
1. Go to a Job’s Pipeline
Navigate to the Job Dashboard and select the job you're working on. You'll land on the Pipeline view.
2. Apply Your Filters
You can filter candidates using two options:
-
Quick Filters Bar at the top of the view (e.g., Application Status, Profile Type, Match Score)
-
Advanced Filters Drawer by clicking the Advanced Filters button
→ This opens a side panel with more granular options like tags, activity dates, source types, skills, and more.
3. Customize Your Columns (Optional)
-
Click the “Columns” button.
-
Select or deselect which data fields you want to display.
-
Reorder columns by dragging the field headers in the table or directly from the drop down.
Click the columns icon (🗂️) to show/hide fields like:
-
Email
- Phone Number
-
Match Score
-
Labels
-
Average Tenure
-
Custom Fields
Drag and drop columns to reorder.
🧹 Managing Views
-
Click the “Save View” dropdown for actions like:
- Pin View
-
Duplicate or rename the view
-
Copy link, export, or delete the view
4. Click “Save View”
Once your filters and columns are set:
-
Click the Save View button at the top right
-
Select “Save as New View” to create a brand new tab
-
Give your view a clear, descriptive name (e.g., Active SQL Candidates)
💡 Use “Save as New View” to preserve any changes without overwriting your current default tab.
💡 Saved views marked as “everyone” become view templates — reusable across all jobs.
⭐ Tip: Unsaved filters will appear with an orange border and won't persist after leaving the page.
📌 Pin & Reorder Views
-
Hover over a view tab to see the pin icon and drag handles.
-
Click the 📌 Pin icon to make it visible to all users on the job. This will then become the new default view on that job.
-
Drag-and-drop tabs to reorder them to your preference.
🛠 Manage or Update Existing Views
To edit or duplicate views, click the Save View ▼ dropdown:
-
Save as New View: Create a new custom view from your current filters and columns -
Duplicate View: Clone an existing saved view -
Edit View Settings: Rename or change visibility -
Remove View: Delete it from your dashboard -
Copy Link to View: Share the view with a colleague
➕ Add Views from Other Jobs or Create One from Scratch
Click “Add View +” in the pipeline tab bar. You’ll see a modal with three sections:
| Section | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Default Views | The five default filters for this workspace |
| Saved by Me | Any views you’ve saved in this or other jobs (can be reused across jobs) |
| Saved by Others | Views created by teammates (if shared) |
-
Simply click any view from Default, Saved by Me, or Saved by Others to add it to the tab bar
➤ To start fresh:
-
Click “Create New View +” at the bottom of the modal
→ This launches a blank view where you can apply filters, choose columns, and then save it.
⭐ Pro Tip:
Unsaved filters won’t be captured when duplicating a view. To preserve any on-the-fly filters or column tweaks, always use Save as New View.
