[Template Creation](https://help.scalis.ai/job-setup?hsLang=en#template-creation) # How to Create Email Templates JOB SETUP Follow this step-by-step guide on how to create email templates that can be used to communicate with candidates. 4 steps   1 Step 1 Open Email Templates   Navigate to **Company Settings** and select **Email Templates**.   2 Step 2 Start a new template   Select **Create Template** on the right side of the screen to begin building a new template. 💡 **Note:** Templates can be created as **Personal**, visible only to you, or **Company**, visible to your entire team. ![Create Template button in Email Templates settings](https://help.scalis.ai/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Guides/Creating%20email%20templates/Create%20Template.jpg) Creating a new email template   3 Step 3 Set up the template details   Enter the **Template Name**.   Select the **Template Type** from the dropdown list.   Select the **Template Owner**, either **Company** or **Personal**. 💡 **Note:** The **Template Type** determines where this template will be available. For example, a template set to a rejection type will only appear when using the rejection function.
