Troubleshooting 🛠️
If you are experiencing any issues with the Chrome Extension, please read through these potential fixes and check with your IT team to unblock any internal security measures.
HTTPS/SSL Inspection
Your security software may intercept and scan web traffic for security purposes. During this process, the authentication cookies that LinkedIn uses to identify you as logged in may not be forwarded correctly. As a result, when our extension reads the page content, it receives the "logged out" version of the profile — even though you're visually signed in.
MalwareBytes Browser Guard Extension
MalwareBytes installs a browser extension that can modify page content for security purposes. This extension may be altering the page structure or blocking certain elements before our extension can read them, which would cause it to fail.
This could explain why the extension works perfectly on a personal machine (no enterprise security) but not on a work machine.
Solution - If you're able to fully disable MalwareBytes (including its web protection and any browser extensions), please try that and restart your browser
