*NEW FEATURE* Scorecard Templates

Scorecard templates provide a structured and consistent way to evaluate candidates during interviews. They help interviewers assess key skills, competencies, and qualifications relevant to the role.

  • Access the SCALIS Platform

  • Navigate to Company Settings:

    • Click on "Company Settings" located in the main navigation menu.
  • Open Scorecard Templates:

    • Within the settings, select "Scorecard Templates" to view existing templates or create a new one.
  • Initiate a New Template:

    • Click on "Create Template" to start building a new scorecard.
  • Choose to Create a New Scorecard:

    • Select "Create New Scorecard" to begin from scratch.
  • Name the Scorecard Template:

      • In the "Insert scorecard name here" field, type "Software Engineer" or "Debugging Interivew" to specify the purpose or interview the scorecard will be used.
  • Provide a Detailed Description for Interviewers:

    • In the description field, enter details regarding the interview such as:
        •  "This interview is structured to assess the candidate’s ability to analyze and resolve complex debugging scenarios efficiently. Pay close attention to how they approach identifying issues, breaking down problems into manageable components, and implementing effective solutions."
  • Define Key Skills and Qualifications:

    • In the skills field, list the essential competencies the interviewer should focus on:
    • Example: 
      • Problem Solving
      • Debugging
      • Collaboration
      • Communication (Written & Verbal)
  • Add Interview Questions:

    • Click on "Add New Question" to incorporate specific questions.
    •  For each question, select the most suitable response type based on the information you're seeking. The available options include:
      • Free Response – Best for open-ended questions that require detailed explanations.
      • Yes/No – Ideal for binary answers or quick confirmations.
      • Numerical – Use when expecting a number-based response, such as years of experience or performance ratings.
      • Date – Suitable for questions requiring a specific date input.
      • Checkbox – Great for multiple-choice selections where candidates can choose one or more applicable options.
  • Finalize and Save the Scorecard:

    • Review all entered information for accuracy.
    • Once satisfied, save the scorecard template for future use in interviews.
