This feature allows you to share and track referrals made by users and external contacts.

How to Submit a Referral

Step 1
Open the Referrals Tab
Users are able to have a SCALIS User or External Referrer use the Referral feature to submit and refer a candidate for a Job Requisition.
Navigate to the Job Dashboard, and click Referrals on the left.

Submit the Referral
Click Submit Referral and upload their resume and details.

Link the Referral to a Job
Link them to an existing job by selecting the Job Listing from the dropdown.

Select the Referrer Type: SCALIS User
Select if the referrer is a SCALIS User (this person has a SCALIS account) or an External Referrer (this is anyone outside of your company: recruiter, agency, personal contact, etc.).

Select the Referrer Type: External Referrer
If the referrer doesn't have a SCALIS account, select External Referrer instead.

Enter the External Referrer's Information
If External Referrer is selected, enter the referrer's information.

Add Candidate Notes
Add in any notes regarding the candidate: your relationship with them, reason for referring them, etc.

Submit the Referral
Add as many details as possible to give your recruitment team as much background as possible.
Once satisfied, click Submit.

Tracking Your Referrals

Step 1
Open the Referrals Tab
Navigate to the Referrals tab from the Job Dashboard.

Review Referral Status
See all your referrals and what stage of the process they are in.
💡 Note: If you are a Super Admin, you will be able to track all company referrals that have been submitted.

Sharing a Referral Link Outside of SCALIS

Step 1
Open the Submit Referral Drawer
Navigate to the Job Dashboard and click Submit Referral.

Copy the Referral Link
From the drawer that opens, click the hyperlink at the top right to copy the URL.

Final Step
Share the Link
Share this URL with Slack channels, or company-wide communication channels, for employees to make referrals.
⚠️ Warning: This link will only work for individuals with a SCALIS account.
