How to Create and Use Interviewer Pools in Scalis

Interviewer Pools help streamline scheduling by grouping interviewers together. Instead of manually assigning individuals each time, you can set up pools organized by skills, departments, or offices.
 
Creating an Interviewer Pool

Step 1
Navigate to Settings and Create a New Pool
 
Go to Company Settings > Interviewer Pools.
 
Select Create New Pool.

Configure the Pool, Add Interviewers, and Save
 
Enter Pool Name and Description.
 
(Optional) Add departments, offices, or skill tags (e.g., React) for better organization.
 
(Optional) Enable Load Balancing:
 
Enter maximum daily and weekly interview limits per interviewer.
 
This ensures the system recommends the best-fit interviewer while avoiding overload.
 
(Optional) Enable Interview Training:
 
Enter the interview role and interviews required.
 
Optionally require approval before the trainee can proceed.
 
Select Add User to include interviewers in the pool.
 
Only users who have logged in and set up their SCALIS account appear.
 
Once saved, the pool appears on the Interviewer Pools landing page.

Open a Pool
 
Go to Interviewer Pools.
 
Select the ··· menu next to a pool and choose View.

Review the Interviewing Activity
 
You'll see a list of all interviews scheduled for that pool.

Using Interviewer Pools During Scheduling

Enter the Scheduling Flow
 
Enter the Scheduling Flow (manual scheduling or self-scheduler).

Select an Interviewer Pool
 
Instead of choosing a single interviewer, select an Interviewer Pool.

Let SCALIS Recommend Interviewers
 
SCALIS recommends best-fit interviewers based on availability, skills, and load balancing.
 
It provides a list for you to choose from.

Review Logged Activity
 
Once scheduled, the event is logged under the pool's Interviewing Activity.

Use Interviewer Pools for high-volume hiring or specialized interview needs, like technical screeners or culture-fit interviewers.
