Quick Start Checklist

This checklist covers all the essential steps to help you hit the ground running and get the most out of the SCALIS platform.

 

Step 1. Getting Started with Your Account 💻

  • Log in and create your account to SCALIS via your Workspace Invite
  • Invite additional team members and assign them Organization Roles
  • Learn the difference between Org Level Roles and Job Level Roles [here]
  • Connect your Calendar via Calendar Settings (Gmail or Outlook)
  • Set up interview scheduling & scheduler link preferences (Calendar sync)

💡Important: To schedule interviews or send scheduler links on behalf of another user, they must first log in and connect their calendar.

Step 2. Company Setup 🏢

  • Upload your logo, name, and company address
  • Create Offices & Departments to match your organization’s structure.
  • Set default “About Us” statements + EEO, Diversity & Benefits disclosures for all job posts via Global Listing Setup.
  • Set Global Screening Questions to auto-apply across all job listings
  • Host your Careers Page with us or Embed It right on your site

🔥 Hot Tip: Use Global Screening Questions to auto-filter must-haves (like location or sponsorship). Then, set up reason-specific rejection emails to keep candidates informed and your process transparent.

Step 3. Creating your First Job 💼

Follow these quick steps to launch your first role in SCALIS:

  • Click “Create Job Requisition” from the job dashboard
  • Enter Internal Job Details
  • Add your Job Description and save as a template 
  • Set Skills & Preferences for better AI matching
  • Create your Job Listing – what candidates will see when they apply
  • Configure Pipeline Stages to match your hiring process
  • Publish the listings to go live and start receiving applications

Step 4. Candidate Sourcing & Management 👥

  • Set Up Job Board Integrations – connect third-party boards for wider reach
  • Review Organic Distribution List to see where your jobs are automatically posted
  • Explore Campaigns – unlock access to 3,000+ additional job boards
  • Import Candidates to bring in past applicants or existing pipelines

Step 5. Communication & Workflows 💌

  • Customize Email Templates – set up messages for interviews, rejections, and more
  • Add Custom Fields & Section Tokens for personalized workflows and documents
  • Upload or Create Offer Letter Templates to streamline your offer process
